hi all.

just wanted to know how i could join a writing guild. i have some short stories that i have been working on and would like to get them published.

however, before really showing them to a publisher, i would like to get them stamped by a writers association so that i have a proof of ownership.

if someone can give me a list of guilds/associations i could join, i'd be most obliged!

please help me out in my quest.
